The European Championships DVD sets

The DVD of the 2006 1-4 Formula Euros from Muhler in Germany  is now available as a three disc set in true 16:9 widescreen and nearly 5 hours of action and racing.  Includes the parade of cars, opening ceremony and entertainment, practise action, pit walk and new parts, both Half Finals, the Main final and prize giving as well as the Truck final.  Also you get a bonus video of nearly one hour of from the 1-5 Bike World Championships.  These discs are crammed with action and surprises too.  We have produced a trailer and these are in Real Media so if you have not got Real Player get it for free off our download page.  As usual the DVD's are available exclusively through Hobbythek

The Dial-Up trailer is HERE and the DVD quality trailer for DSL download is HERE

The DVD of the 1-5 European Championships from Greece will be available exclusively at Hobbythek from Friday 25th August.    As with all our videos from this one on, they will be in native wide screen format at 16:9 in PAL Widescreen and set for all regions and even if your native TV is NTSC you can still play it on a computer. So hurry along to Hobbythek and get your copy now!

Includes the opening ceremony, concourse, track view and trip, Greek dancers, hot laps by top drivers, four laps shown simultaneously of top drivers so you can compare styles etc, the all important first lap from different angles, pit walk and track stuff during the week, slow motion of all those rolls, loops, spins and crashes, both half finals and the main final, the prize ceremony.  You also get a free bonus video of the 24 hours team race at Lostallo a few weeks ago.  We just managed to get it squeezed onto two DVD's!

Whilst videoed in High Definition and rendered as such ready for a re-release in 2007 when Blu Ray is available, these videos have been also rendered as normal DVD type but at the highest resolution possible.  They are also available on a PSP Memory Stick (ask Hobbythek for details). All the videos even at the highest bitrate (quality) will fit on a 1 meg Memory Stick Duo Pro but we can also supply it on a 2 meg Duo so you have lots of space left for other things.

Two trailers are available.  Dial up one and a DSL one.

You also get a free bonus video of the 24 hours team race at Lostallo a few weeks ago.

We are now in a position to release the DVD of the 2005 World Championships in Lostallo.  Lots of you will be waiting for it and believe me it is worth it!  Whether you want it as a souvenir because you were there or to watch it because you were not it has been worth the wait.  It has taken some doing to get it all onto four DVD’s.  Yes that’s right 4 DVD discs in this presentation pack.  How we did it when there was hundreds of gigabytes of video footage to edit still mystifies us.  We used the latest High Definition Cameras throughout the whole week we were there.  Whilst we cannot burn High Definition to normal DVD discs (we will have to wait for Blue Ray and HDV discs to come out in 2006), the quality of the colour is still there with no bleeding of colours or glare from bright colours or day glow body shells and is ‘as you see it with your own eye’ quality.

A lot of you will have seen the 23 short videos we put up on the web during the event but that was just the tip of the iceberg.  Filmed in native 16:9 wide screen format, if you are going to play it on a TV you will get the best from it on an LCD or Plasma and input via component sockets.  If played on a computer again an LCD screen is best or better still a DVI output to a high quality monitor will have you going, WOW!  In the box with the discs will be a special offer (free as well!) to those lucky enough to have High Definition equipment but a half-way stage will be on disc 4 as a sample of what the fuss is all about along with a ‘read-me’ file that may be translated but all this will be explained in the box.

What you get is the video from a car going round the worlds track, the concourse of cars and the winners, the opening parade, a full week of pit stuff and track action including lots of slow motion antics, shots from the helicopter, top drivers show you how to do things properly, interviews with top drivers and personalities with video backdrops to the scenes running behind them, quarter finals, both half finals and the full main final and prize giving.  The finals include the running scoreboard in the top left corner, picture in picture top right and a Formula 1 style car positions in the lower part of the screen.  Plus a sample of High Definition footage and a technical article on wide screen, high definition and further advice.

Enough from us have a look at this short  video trailer of the DVD.  You will need Real Player which is free.  Don’t forget to get your order in quickly with Hobbythek who are handling the world-wide distribution of this event of DVD.

The DVD of the Formula European Championships will be available exclusively at Hobbythek from Monday 13th September.  There is so much video footage we very nearly filled two full DVD's so this is a double DVD set.  It includes the parade of teams, pit stuff and new products seen there, the Final of the 1-4 GT cars, the Truck final with all 13 trucks racing, the Formula Semi A and B finals with 15 to each semi final, the full Main Formula Final with 20 cars participating!  The full trophy presentation is also there.  We used multiple cameras to get in-car-cam footage plus footage from different angles and positions on the track.  The main camera was situated some 14 meters high on a crane which gave amazing shots but we also have the video of the decade (possibly) which try as we might will never be able to replicate namely that amazing crash where the car comes straight at the camera and almost destroys the camera.  This is a must for your DVD collection so hurry along to Hobbythek and get your copy now!

The DVD of the 1-5 Euros in Zagreb will be out in just over a month and that too will be two DVD's.  Our very first true widescreen video in high definition will be the Truck Race from Velp so watch out for that one as from that video all our offerings will be in 16:9 widescreen, Dolby sound and High Definition.
